As your child completes their first half term in Year 7 and 8 respectively, we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to our ‘Excellence Evening’ on Thursday 28th November from 4pm until 6pm.
During the evening, there will be a careers fayre consisting of a range of college, apprenticeship and further education providers to discuss the future post-16, alongside an opportunity to meet with your child’s form tutor to discuss their current progress. Year 8 students will also be able to collect their first Report of Progress, whilst Year 7 students and their parents will be able to discuss the report received at the end of the first half term with their form tutors, Miss Dunn and their Head of Year.
In addition to this, a number of our subject leaders will also be discussing your child’s curriculum, revision strategies and techniques; and how to best support your child in these specific subjects after a Year 7 and 8 Dance performance in our Amethyst Theatre.
Performance in the Amethyst Theatre at 4.30pm

Alongside this, there will be a well-being session for parents, carers and students. This session will take place from 4pm until 4.30pm in our Dance Studio and will offer practical tips on looking after your mental health and well-being.
