All students will all be expected to participate in enrichment activities. Most of these will take place outside of lesson time, but some are directly linked to your subjects such as work experience and practical activities.
Enrichment activities offer an ideal opportunity for you to make new friends and try something new. Enrichment will also help you to develop skills and qualities valued by employers and will help to boost your CV and UCAS application.

Undergraduate Open Days
Opportunities are provided for visits to local Higher Education and University Open Days. Students will be made aware of the dates of all open days and seminars offered by all HE institutions. You are permitted to attend two University Open Days independently during the school year. All students to fill in the Open Day form in advance so that we can inform subject teachers.
Opportunities are provided for educational visits and fieldtrips as part of many subject courses. Links with Universities to Open Days and links with employers to visit the workplace as well as theatre trips, study support sessions and fieldtrips.
