Year 7 Achievement Standards Leader – Miss Dunn
I’m Miss Dunn and I am very excited to be working with our new year 7 students! Following a successful transition over the summer, I look forward to be working with our new students in their first year at Aldersley to ensure they make the best possible start on their journey through to year 13. My main role as their Attainment and Standards Leader is to ensure that all students are making progress across our knowledge-rich curriculum and supporting them in their learning. I will be working closely with students to inspire and motivate them to achieve their future goals on their chosen pathway. I believe that with guidance and support, all students can be successful through hard work, resilience and determination. As well as working closely with my new year 7 students I would also like to build good relationships with parents and carers to provide further support through academic intervention and enrichment. Year 7 Head of Year – Mrs Loades-Vincent
Hello, my name is Mrs Loades-Vincent. I am the Head of Year 7 at Aldersley High, and I am committed to ensuring that each and every Year 7 pupil feels safe, confident and well looked after during their time at school. My main role is to maintain a high standard of behaviour across the year group, which I look forward to achieving with the support of parents and carers. I pride myself on building positive relationships with all pupils by finding the right balance of being firm but fair to all. Year 8 ASL – Miss Dunn
I am delighted to be continuing working with our year 8 students this year following a very successful start to their time at Aldersley. I am very proud of what all students have achieved so far and look forward to supporting them during Year 8. As their Attainment and Standards Leader, I will be working closely with all students to ensure they are focused and determined to achieve the best grades possible in both their academic and enrichment subjects. Towards the end of this year we will see our students selecting their GCSE subjects which is an important part of their Aldersley journey. Throughout the year I want to ensure that all students are motivated and focused in all subject areas before making their decisions. I will be supporting and inspiring all students throughout year 8 to ensure they have the skills and resources they need to reach their aspirations. I am excited to see what this year will bring and look forward to celebrating and rewarding students along the way. My name is Miss Brown, I am the Year 8 Pastoral Manager. If students are to achieve within school, it is important that their safety and well-being are taken care of. I am responsible for ensuring that your child attends school regularly, in full uniform and follows the school conduct system to ensure that behaviour is conducive to learning. Year 9 ASL – Miss Dooner
I’m Miss Dooner and I am very excited to be the Year 9 ASL, as well as being an English teacher here at Aldersley. Working alongside Miss Williams, my job is to ensure that your child makes fantastic academic progress throughout this crucial school year and is well prepared for their GCSE examinations. I have lots of exciting plans in the pipeline: from university trips to inspirational speakers, employer talks and work experience days. I am determined to ensure that the year group work hard and are rewarded for the fantastic progress that they make. Year 9 Head of Year – Miss Williams
I am Miss Williams, and I am the pastoral Head of Year 9. As a new member of staff I am very much looking forward to working with all the students in the year group and their families. Being new to Aldersley will allow me to build relationships with the year group and support them through their new journey into Key Stage 4. As Year 9 are beginning their GCSEs this is a very important time and transition period for them and I am here to support students with any issues or barriers they may come across, whether it is an adjustment to their behaviour; boosting attendance or supporting students with emotional and social development and their overall well-being, whilst allowing me to get to know all of the year group as individuals.

Year 10 Head of Year – Mr Taylor
Hi, I’m Mr Taylor and I am the Head of Year 10 Pastoral care. My role as Head of Year is varied and very challenging on a daily basis. Each day can be entirely different from the last, dealing with issues such as behaviour management and the day to day well-being of the students. The emotional and social development is my priority and this can be very rewarding when a positive outcome has been achieved when supporting the students. I will continue to strive to connect; nurture; support and build relationships during their educational pathway to success.

Year 11 Achievement Standards Leader – Mrs Bond
My name is Mrs Bond and I am the Year 11 Attainment and Standards Leader, as well as being an English teacher. As part of my role, I will be: tracking and monitoring your child’s progress and attainment during their time at Aldersley; intervening where necessary; reporting grades or concerns home; offering academic support and guidance; and ensuring that an ethos of rewarding excellent effort is established. During this crucial time in your child’s education, it is my aim to support and equip them with the skills and resources that they need in order to be successful at GCSE and beyond- both academically and as rounded individuals. Year 11 Head of Year – Mr Pritchard
My name is Mr Pritchard and I am proud to be the Year 11 Pastoral Head of Year. My role as Head of Year is to ensure that all behavioural and emotional concerns are dealt with so that students can access their academic studies fully. I work closely with Mrs Bond, Attainment & Standard Leader for Year 11, and together we ensure that the pupils’ needs are met academically and pastorally.
